About the Sundogs
Mission Statement
At Tri-County Sundogs, our mission is to foster a positive, inclusive, and growth-oriented sports environment where young athletes develop not only as players, but as individuals. We are committed to building confidence, encouraging teamwork, and inspiring a lifelong passion for the game—all while upholding health, discipline, and respect.
Our Core Values
Sportsmanship – Championing fair play, integrity, and respect for teammates, opponents, coaches, and officials.
Teamwork – Emphasizing collaboration, clear communication, and mutual support on and off the field.
Development – Prioritizing long-term skill growth over short-term results, and encouraging continuous improvement.
Inclusivity – Welcoming athletes of all backgrounds and abilities, and ensuring equal opportunity to participate and succeed.
Community – Building strong connections among families, coaches, volunteers, and athletes to create a supportive network.
Leadership – Providing opportunities for athletes to cultivate responsibility, confidence, and leadership qualities.
Fun – Ensuring sports remain enjoyable, fostering a positive atmosphere that keeps participants motivated and engaged.
Why We Do It
Youth sports offer far more than physical exercise—they teach valuable life lessons, forge lasting friendships, and shape character. Our aim is to create an experience that empowers kids to grow both on the field and beyond, making every season meaningful, memorable, and fun.
